About Us
Power Couples Rock exists to build a collective community by implementing purposeful pathways to develop masterful marriages. Our purpose is to encourage, inspire, and support one another in order to have a masterful marriage. As founders of Power Couples Rock, we have been married for over 30 years. We are committed to honoring the first institution ordained by God. Over thirteen years ago, we founded Power Couples Rock, LLC (formerly CK Committed), a ministry that focuses on strengthening marriages and
families. This ministry has allowed us to facilitate numerous retreats and workshops throughout the Midwest and Southeast regions of the country as well as abroad to West Africa.
We are members of Grace Fellowship Church in Snellville, Georgia, lead small groups focusing on families and Kingdom Living, as well as serve in various community outreach programs.
We were key speakers on the inaugural marriage cruise sponsored by Black and Married with Kids. We were also featured in the documentary “Still Standing”, a film that examines and celebrates marriages who overcame major challenges. Tyler New Media created a “New Year New Marriage” DVD and Workbook in which Carlos and Katherine focused on setting goals within your family. “New Year New Marriage” is in education/workshop based DVD and Workbook set that couples can use at home to strengthen their marriages. USA Today Best Years Magazine printed an article entitled, “Keep the Love Alive” in which we provided insights and advice on what has kept their marriage growing.

We are co-authors of “The Family Goal Planning Guide and Workbook” which is a holistic and vital tool that is to be a catalyst for helping families and individuals live their best life through setting and achieving their goals. It covers six core areas: Faith, Family, Finance, Future, Fitness, and Fun. We are also the creators of a product that has sold thousands called the “Luv Pak,”an interactive activity packet for couples (dating or married).

Carlos is a native of Murfreesboro, TN. He holds a Bachelors of Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, from Middle Tennessee State University, as well as a Masters Degree in Organizational Management from Trevecca Nazarene University. His professional career extends over fifteen years of leadership and management experience with various Fortune 500 companies.

Katherine holds a Bachelors of Science degree with an emphasis in Speech Communications and Theatre, from Middle Tennessee State University. She has spent the last few years working for an organization that is committed to fostering healthy conditions in which individuals, families, and communities thrive throughout Georgia. Katherine has been educating and working with families and couples for over ten years. She also has over ten years of customer service experience and approximately five years of leadership and front line management experience with a Fortune 500 company.

We give thanks to God who continues to provide opportunities for them to use their gifts and talents in such a way that brings Him Glory and Honor.

To this union of marriage, God has blessed us with two sons.
